H.E. Ambassador Tsegab met and discussed with Professor Paul Lalvani, Founder and Executive Director of the Empower School of Health on August 21, 2024, in the Permanent Mission’s office in Geneva.
During their meeting, they discussed institutional collaboration in areas such as pharmaceutical supply chain management, manufacturing, capacity building and more. H.E. Ambassador Tsegab provided an overview of the priorities and policy ecosystem for the development of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Ethiopia.
Empower School of Health collaborates with UNITAR and other stakeholders to provide training and capacity building in global health. This year, the Center for Leadership Development of Empower School of Health will launch its next edition of its CEO Forum through a seminar in Addis Ababa from August 26-28, 2024.The CEO forum initiative is targeted towards national medicine agencies and supply chain organization and will be emphasizing on women and gender in the African context.
