Ethiopia delivered a statement at the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) that kicked off today 04 November 2024 in Genva Switzerland.
In his remarks H.E. Ambassador Tsegab emphasised the urgency to operationalize equity and global solidarity within the Pandemic Agreement.
He further reiterated Ethiopia’s readiness and commitment to engage constructively for a meaningful finalization of the Pandemic Agreement before the end of 2024.
The 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body to draft and negotiate a WHO Convention, Agreement or other International Instrument on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response will continue until 15 November 2024.
