H.E. Ambassador Tsegab held a productive discussion with Ashutosh Chadha, Senior Director -UN Affairs and International Organizations of Microsoft Switzerland. During their discussion they shared views on several topics, including technology policy, cyber security and AI. They also explored the possibility of further collaboration between Microsoft and Ethiopian institutions in addition to its existing cooperation as a member of the advisory group for EW4All.
Similarly, H.E. Ambassador Tsegab had a fruitful discussion with Dr. Jovan Kurbalija, the Executive Director of DiploFoundation. The discussion focused on current issues and dynamics of the intersection of diplomacy with technology. In light of the previous training provided by Diplo to Ethiopian institutions last year, the meeting identifed practical cooperation areas in capacity building at both the capital and the Permanent Mission in Geneva.
